Clinical Integration

An important member of the Robert Wood Johnson Health Network (RWJHN) is the UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.  Their participation makes the Robert Wood Johnson Health Network the only health system in the State that includes a medical school.  The Network’s role is to identify and develop areas of collaboration between the Medical School and all of the other members of the Network. 

 

Listed below are the programs and services where the Network has effected those collaborations:

 

Bayshore Community Hospital

  • Operation of the Department of Pathology
  • Member, Cancer Institute of New Jersey

Carrier Clinic

  • Contracted to provide medical services within the behavioral health organization

CentraState Medical Center

  • Family Practice Residency
  • Member, Cancer Institute of New Jersey

Children’s Specialized Hospital

  • Children’s Specialized Hospital is the Department of Pediatric Rehabilitation

Raritan Bay Medical Center

  • Supervision of Pediatrics inpatient and Emergency Room
  • Maternal Fetal Medicine services, OB/GYN

Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton

  • Operation of the Department of Pathology
  • Operation of the Cancer Institute of New Jersey – Hamilton

Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway

  • Participation in Cardiac Grand Rounds
