Robert Wood Johnson Health Network (RWJHN) offers a wide range of medical transportation services  These services provide a valuable, timely service to benefit our patients and the Network’s healthcare organizations.  Transport services bring patients between hospitals or to other facilities such as rehabilitation and treatment centers.  RWJHN transport also supports the community by providing 991 calls service in 5 local communities, New Brunswick, North Brunswick, Somerset, Piscataway and Old Bridge.
Among the services we provide are:

  • Emergency medical transportation;
  • Non-emergency general medical transportation to healthcare facilities and health management organizations;
RWJHN has a fleet of 27 ambulances and runs 13 Network vehicles during peak hours. Our 75 employees are certified in basic and advanced life support.  RWJHN transport performs 1500 runs on average per month.
